Start an exercise program can be a daunting task for anyone. A major obstacle for many people is time. Another is motivation. A third is just beginning, when you are incapacitated, even a little exercise can be extremely difficult, and it is easy to get discouraged.

For people with mobility problems, exercise can not even seem like an option. A large population affected by these issues is the age, the elderly may have difficulty with balance, or may have a health problem, such as arthritis or osteoporosis throw discordant movements. However, the elderly are not the only people for whom mobility problems hamper. A significant portion of the population suffers from chronic back pain, arthritis, congenital disorders, multiple sclerosis and other conditions, in various ways, limiting the ability of people to move.

If you have balance problems or a medical condition that leaves you vulnerable to injury continues a year "normal" can harm your health program. This does not mean that you are condemned to a sedentary lifestyle, however. You can work with what you have to get the benefits of exercise without the risks.

Unfortunately, no independent studies have been done to test the effectiveness of the Sit and Be Fit program. The results of this study may stimulate research on similar programs.
